This new series was developed in the autumn 2021 inspired by a painting of Miro, the Constellations. It’s a free interpretation and the drawing is done with a free hand on porcelain vessels.
I used a porcelain stoneware clay from Valentine clay. The black lines were done using the inlay technique, and the shapes painted with coloured slip. The pieces were glazed with a transparent glaze from Mayco.
