Medium red stoneware vessel

Part of the ‘Volcanics’ series, this vessel is uniquely made in my ceramics studio in Stourbridge, UK. Technique: wheel-thrown with a red clay (stoneware) and glazed. The vessel is fired to 1,200 degrees Celsius. Finish: exterior unglazed to show the clay texture; interior decorated with a red glaze.
